Bad assumption, they told me I should have bought it back half full (and risked their $8.49 gal scam) and there was nothing they could do to help me. ![]() After leaving the airport and starting the drive, I noticed the gas tank was only half full - I took a photo showing the mileage since I left the airport (39 miles driven / half tank of gas) and figured they would be honest and refund my $$ when I returned. Told I would have to wait if I wanted as SUV - wasting another 20 minutes of my time. When it is my turn, they offer me a Dodge Charger/Challenger instead of the SUV I rented (it was snowing at the time, and I was heading to the mountains to ski). I go to the lot, long line in front of me - people with all sorts of problems. In my experience in March 2019 - upon arrival, I went to the main counter (no line) - was told I was fastbreak, just go to the lot. The team at SLC are horrible in terms of customer service, speed, etc. ![]() I rent frequently with Budget for both business and pleasure - using COSTCO usually - they are my go to rental car company. I would recommend to AVOID BUDGET SLC, I can't imagine a worse experience.
